The “Thomas Court” Stays Order Suspending Gerrymandering in Louisiana

In what appears to be another move that takes persevered authority from the Supreme court. The Supreme Court, under the senior direction of Justice Thomas has stayed an order that would have prevented gerrymandering in Louisiana in 2022.

According to some sources this will allow “racially gerrymandered congressional maps in the state of Louisiana, at least for the 2022 election.”

This order, in the wake of an overturn of Roe v. Wade seems to be an indication of the direction the Supreme Court under Justice Thomas.
