Back in early June of 2022, an unusual article landed on my desk.
Under the direction of the Biden administration, the Supreme Court refused to hear a case appealed by Roundup’s new master after its acquisition from Monsanto, Bayer Pharmaceuticals. A product that has faced billions in losses since the sale.
What does this decision mean?
Well, it’s more clear to me after the recently overturned Roe v. Wade decision.
The Supreme Court, refused to hear the case. Leaving the decision about what pesticides can be used in a state, and how those pesticides must be labeled up to the states.
While keeping the State’s in check, the Thomas Court seems to be reverting previously assumed authority back to the states.
