North Carolina’s New Law Requires Parental Consent for Covid-19 Vaccine

NORTH CAROLINA – August 20th, 2021: NC House Bill 96 which allows pharmacies to administer “injectable drugs”. Also requires that minors get their parents consent before getting vaccines which are authorized under emergency use.

The bill, which passed the senate unanimously, allows physicians to inject customers with a variety of injectable treatments, including COVID-19 vaccine.

While minors in NC can get other forms of treatment from a physician without their parents consent. Any procedure or treatment authorized under emergency use authorization. May not be enacted on a minor in NC, without their parents consent under this new law.
