Dr. Demian discusses his evolution from traditional chronic-pain medicine toward a more holistic approach to health. He argues that many health problems are influenced by the environment, food, habits, sleep, exercise, inflammation, and other factors that affect cellular and mitochondrial health. His broader philosophy is that health should be addressed before people become seriously ill, rather than waiting for symptoms and then treating them.
A major theme is the idea of biological age versus chronological age. Rather than focusing only on how many years someone has been alive, Demian emphasizes measuring how quickly the body’s cells and organs are aging and then identifying factors that may be accelerating that process. He believes that relatively simple lifestyle changes can have a significant impact.
His basic framework is surprisingly simple: sleep properly, eat real food, avoid heavily processed foods and excess sugar, exercise, spend time outdoors, and address nutritional or hormonal deficiencies. He argues that people often overcomplicate health while searching for a “secret” supplement or treatment.
Demian also explains how his own health experience changed his medical philosophy. After becoming seriously ill with COVID and experiencing prolonged difficulty recovering from exercise, he began investigating inflammation and cellular health. This led him to change his diet, eliminate sugar, investigate peptides, and rethink how he approached patients.
The conversation then moves toward whole-person medicine. Instead of treating a knee, back, or other isolated problem, Demian says practitioners should look at the entire patient—including sleep, diet, hormones, nutrients, inflammation, cardiovascular health, and other systems. This philosophy eventually led to the development of his broader healthcare model.
The episode closes with a discussion about living in balance with nature. Demian rejects extreme approaches to longevity and instead advocates moderation, outdoor activity, sunlight, exercise, good nutrition, and proper sleep. His overarching message is that optimizing health doesn’t necessarily require an elaborate or expensive protocol—it can begin with simple, consistent decisions.
Key Takeaways
- Healthcare should become proactive rather than reactive.
- Don’t wait until someone becomes sick before thinking about their health. Your daily choices influence your long-term health trajectory.
- Food, air, water, sleep, exercise, environment, and habits all play a role in Demian’s model. Biological age may be more meaningful than chronological age.
- The episode emphasizes looking at how the body is functioning and aging rather than simply counting birthdays. Health doesn’t have to be complicated.
- Demian repeatedly comes back to a few fundamentals: sleep, nutrition, exercise, avoiding processed food, and optimizing nutrients.Inflammation is a major focus.
- Demian describes his own experience of changing his diet and focusing on inflammation after his COVID illness. Treat the whole person, not just the symptom.
- A patient with knee pain may also have problems involving diet, sleep, hormones, inflammation, or other systems. One-size-fits-all medicine has limitations.
- Demian stresses that what works for one person may not work for another because lifestyle and environment differ. Nature is part of the health equation.
- The conversation emphasizes outdoor activity, sunlight, fresh air, walking, and connection with the natural environment. Don’t confuse optimization with obsession.
- Demian advocates balance rather than extreme longevity protocols or living inside a highly controlled environment. The future of medicine may be more personalized and preventative.
- The episode envisions using biological-age testing, health measurements, lifestyle information, and individualized plans to intervene before major disease develops. Aging shouldn’t automatically mean decline.
- One of Demian’s strongest philosophical points is that getting older doesn’t necessarily mean accepting loss of mobility, vitality, or quality of life.

we probably can stop, reverse and
uh eliminate aging altogether. I believe that the people that were going to be living to 150 and 200 years are walking among us
Healing (01:51)
Welcome to the Healing Law Podcast. I’m your host Douglas. And today we have Dr. Demian of the Prasentia Healthcare Group. He’s the founder of Prasentia Healthcare. How you doing today,
Hany Demian (02:02)
Good, good. How are doing, Daubless? Thanks for having me.
Healing (02:05)
Thanks for joining, man. We have a lot of excellent topics that you have proposed for the show, and honestly, there’s endless questions. We’re gonna keep it to the topics mostly if we can, but if you wanna go any direction with it, feel free. But how the environment, food systems, and lifestyle choices are impacting healthcare and the importance there. In a broad scope,
Hany Demian (02:26)
when
Healing (02:26)
mean, yeah, go for it.
Hany Demian (02:29)
Yeah, sorry for that, but it becomes a passion. And honestly, it’s getting to the point of obsession now about living healthy and how our habits, our nature and environment affect us. To the point that in the past five years, I’m almost dedicated for that. I started with chronic pain management and it’s a passion as well, helping patients through the journey.
But I want to take it beyond that to actually treating the cause and the cause, as I said, is the nature, environment, and our habits. So jumping into the topic, I believe that everything we do affect our health. And it’s not only at a certain age, I think from the day that we were born. And that will be the topic of my book, What If Aging is Optional?
It will give an idea that from zero from the day that we were born to 10 years, should be done.
and from 11 years to 20 years and from 20 to 21 to 30 and whatnot. So everything what we do from anything that we put in our mouth to any exercise we do or we don’t, any food, any air, whether you’re living in a clean air environment or pollution like where I grew up in Egypt where pollution is quite high to what we drink, what our sleep.
affect us, affect our energy, affect our cellular health and mitochondria. So it’s really becoming quite exciting. Everything we do, every choice that we make can change the trajectory of our life and our health.
Healing (04:18)
Absolutely and a decade ago doctors would never say such a thing like They were you know, because it was all about and this ties into a lot of the topics that you like I had so many questions that you proposed earlier as you were saying that it’s like so the modern health care is made isn’t made to make people well is what you’re suggesting and because of the
Because it starts with the diet, starts with everything that you intake. It starts with the air, the water, the food, the elements that build the soil that we are made of. Everything comes from the earth and the environment and we are built of that. So that’s what we become. But the health care system hasn’t been taking that into impact at all. And you’re proposing that it should.
Hany Demian (05:07)
Absolutely. Our healthcare, unfortunately, is not designed for healthy people. I know it’s called healthcare, but it’s not really healthcare. It’s designed for sick people. It waits until you get sick. Like if you go to your doctor today and said, what should I do to live healthy? He wouldn’t know what to do with you. He doesn’t know your habits. He doesn’t know what you do, what you drink, what are your activities, are your hopes or dreams. Tell me what’s wrong with you.
How can I help you? Right? And I’ve done that. I practiced that for years and you get tired of that. Right? How can I help you? What’s wrong? my cholesterol is high. My sugar is high. My vision, my energy, whatever. So it’s becoming reactive medicine. Right? If we decided to look differently or to look into it with a different lens, how can we be proactive? I didn’t want to go to the doctor. I didn’t want to go to him and tell him, my heart…
is racing or I have chest pain or I don’t feel my right arm or left arm or my joints, right? Because honestly, our bodies are not meant to degrade, right? You think about it, your heart is not meant to give up. Why your joints are giving up? Why your brain end up with a stroke? It’s all our decisions. So if we correct those decisions from now,
we probably can stop, reverse and
uh eliminate aging altogether. I believe that the people that were going to be living to 150 and 200 years are walking among us
now. They are. There are people that
will live healthy, will be strict, disciplined with their diet activities and exercise, sleep and whatnot, to the point that they will live longer. They wouldn’t need doctors and their cell is not gonna degrade. There will be no breakdown in their mitochondria because we are able to identify this, we’re able to measure it so that we can manage it, right? And it will come the time that…
You’ll be 70, 80, 90 years old and you’re still active going to the gym and doing whatever you want to do.
Healing (07:18)
Wow. So the mechanisms that you foresee like doing this, they technology or is it like getting more in tune with nature or like is it a combination of both? mean, what are the limitations there that you would propose? Like what’s the optimal way that you would see it happening?
Hany Demian (07:37)
The optimal way is everybody should know their habits and their goals, right? And when I have a patient and they’re coming for initial consults, what do want to do when you’re 60? What do you want to do when you’re 70, 80, 90, and 100, right? Tell me what you want. What’s the single activity that you want to do all those years? Whether it’s…
enjoying your kids, grandkids, enjoying a sport that you like, enjoying going out with friends or whatnot. And then we start this way. We measure their age, the cellular age, right, which is the biological age. Forget about the date of birth and those numbers. Think about it as a biological age. How fast your body is breaking down, how each organ is breaking down.
And we get to that point, I said, okay, you have inflammation and that’s why your organs or cells are breaking down. How can we reverse that? Simple things, Douglas, simple things, right? It doesn’t need to be complicated. You need to fix your sleep, right? Sleep enough, right? You need to eat healthy, going back to the nature like we discussed and…
Don’t have processed food, don’t eat processed food, don’t eat things, sugar, processed sugar, and you will feel better. Exercise, right? From a simple exercise like walking in the nature, exposed to the sun, fresh air, right? And look into your supplements. What are you missing? What’s missing in your diet? Whether it’s sodium, calcium, phosphorus, whatever, missing.
and try to optimize that hormones, right? Optimize your hormones, whether you’re going to take a supplement or you’re going to do certain exercise, eat certain food to optimize your hormones. That’s all. Those are the four corners that will keep you healthy and prevent your cell and mitochondria from breaking down. Once you do this, it’s not magic. It’s not a celebrity secret, right? It just once you get to that point, right?
is really the cheapest recipe you can think of. Exercise, sleep, eat healthy, stay away from processed food, and optimize your nutrients.
Healing (09:53)
I think like getting, you know, walking and all this, then like if you want scientific evidence of why getting into nature matters, look at grounding and there’s thousands of scientific studies about the benefits of grounding and how it helps like just walking barefoot or whatever, like grounding
Hany Demian (10:10)
Yeah.
Healing (10:10)
yourself to the earth, an alignment of the blood vessels and all the different, there’s a many studies. I haven’t looked in a while, so I don’t want to claim specifics, but there’s a lot there.
Hany Demian (10:22)
There are a lot. I have a lot of patients that they go from cold climate like Toronto or New York or whatever and they go into winter destination like Florida or Mexico or whatever and they feel no pain. Why? Because they’re exposed to the sun, the sea, the salt, the water. They’re walking barefoot, which they can’t do in Toronto or New York or cold climate. I had no pain for three or four or five weeks.
whatsoever. Some of them snowbirds will go for six months and they don’t need to see a doctor there. And that tells you something,
Healing (10:56)
Wow, yeah.
Hany Demian (10:57)
you know what mean? If you go back to this habits, imagine doing that 12 months a year, right? You wouldn’t need to see a doctor. Imagine if you do that for the good part of your life, you wouldn’t need to see a doctor, right? And it does not need, it doesn’t need to be complicated.
with a lot of supplements and treatments and whatnot. Honestly, going back to those four basics, you will feel much better, you will feel healthier, more energetic, and you will live longer.
Healing (11:32)
I agree. I mean, like, that’s amazing, man. I’ve never, like, heard it put so plainly, amazing synopsis of, yeah, how simple it can be. It’s like, so like the impact, hmm.
Hany Demian (11:42)
Yeah. Yeah, it’s, it’s the
problem is Douglas is we complicated too much. You know what I mean? Everybody’s looking for
Healing (11:51)
Yeah.
Hany Demian (11:53)
a secret recipe, a fountain of youth, right? A magic pre-workout, post-workout, right? I probably tried every single pre-workout on the market.
I was just at the GNC store. They knew me by name. They know what’s new to keep me samples or give me the newest pre-workout. The minute I decided to do it naturally, stop pre-workout, I felt much better. I exercised better. Joints are not hurting anymore. just, you know, it has to be that simple, right? People in the past…
lived that simple. knew about PRP, which call it the blood patch. When they got injured in war, they did a blood patch with the blood and heal their wounds. So our body can heal itself, right? And this is what they did in the past. So it has to be that simple. Once we go there, once we go back to the nature, it has to be that simple, simple nutrients, simple food, right? It doesn’t need to be complicated, but it’s not one size fits all.
What will work for you might not work for me, might not work for my lifestyle.
Healing (13:11)
Yeah, I mean, what works for one person in New York might not work for them in Arizona or like the other climate or vice versa. Like just the same person in a different location in a different environment is a different story entirely.
Hany Demian (13:24)
That’s right.
Healing (13:25)
I appreciate the insight because it is very simple. It’s important to keep it simple. mean, the, you know, the companies that sell medicine benefit from making it complicated and restricting the sources of solutions that they propose, which aren’t solutions to.
the actual mechanisms causing the problems, they’re just, they’re preventive, they’re not even preventative. It’s like they’re covering the symptoms, right? We’ve, unfortunately
Hany Demian (13:50)
That’s all.
Healing (13:52)
that’s like modern, it’s so much more like people didn’t see that at all years ago. I’m so happy people are starting to see that and speak about that to
putting it out so simply.
Hany Demian (14:04)
Yeah, it’s if we were talking about people are getting tired of reactive medicine. They don’t want to get sick to go to the doctor. And I’ve seen it in the younger generation. They don’t want to get sick. A lot of them restricting their diet, becoming vegan, staying away from eating inflammatory diet.
whether it’s sugar, whether it’s processed sugar, processed food, extra meat, extra protein, they’re stepping away from that. They are really disciplined and they don’t wanna get sick. They’re really, really, really conscious and health conscious about that. So learning from them, it’s been a privilege for me in the past few years and looking, say, oh, you know what?
20 years old shouldn’t be in a pain clinic, like I always say, for the rest of their life, right? They go out and they do their homework and say, okay, let me try this, let me try this exercise, this supplement, and it does work. It does work. I have a lot of younger patients that work on a natural treatment and it worked. And like I always say, pharmaceutical companies not going to discover cancer treatment, right? It’s in our hand.
to look to prevent cancer in the first place. What’s causing cancer? And this is one of the things that we do in our clinics, right?
Healing (15:32)
So like, well, yeah, I
want to go there. So at what? So you used to be like a normal like you used to do like the normal doctor thing that you were trained to do. And then like now all of a sudden you realized all this. What was the turning point? Like, what was that moment for you?
Hany Demian (15:47)
was my health, my health. really, dogless hit, like I say, close to home, right? I got COVID early on, I think 2020 in March, when they shut down Miami in March break, I think so, February or March, right? I came back, I was living in Toronto, I came back and I was sick for a week, almost unconscious in bed, fever.
Couldn’t eat, couldn’t walk, just went to the bathroom and back and let, I asked my wife, just let me sleep, right? And then after that, going to the gym or exercising become so difficult. I wouldn’t recover for weeks. I work out like upper body and I can recover for weeks. Work out legs or lower body. It took me like four or five weeks to recover my legs. I said, I can’t be doing that. And I don’t think it’s aging because it’s happened.
So quick. So I looked closely into this, which drove me into cellular medicine. What happened in my cells? What’s the breakdown? And I start, number one, cutting sugar completely. I said, no more sugar, no more processed sugar. I think I have a lot of inflammation in my body. Could be aggravated by the COVID infection, but it could be the inflammation. So I stopped sugar. I woke up one day, I said…
No more sugar. So I stopped chocolate. I was heavy in chocolate. I could finish a big bag, like Costco bag of overnight, wake up with it sitting beside me empty on the pillow. No, it was ridiculous, right? I could wake up at night and drink three, four diet coke. And you find them in the nightstand beside me. said, okay, we’re going to stop this. We’re going to stop sugar. And let’s really focus on inflammation, control inflammation, look into cellular health.
And then I found my way to peptides. So all the peptide amino acids, how bad it could be. It’s like amino acid, branch chain, I was taking those supplements for the gym. Let’s look into this. So I started with BPC and TB and I’ve never felt better. I literally felt like I’m 20 years old again. I recover so fast.
muscle mass, muscle density, it was just unbelievable change. So I kept looking closer and closer and I said, you know what, why can’t we do this before people get sick? And I started looking into my patient and I said, all right, I’m treating you for chronic pain.
Right? For knee pain or hip pain or whatever and you’re still coming back for your shoulder, your spine is not doing well, the degradation in the spine. Why can’t we look a little bit closer? Start advising patient on peptides, on sleep, in realizing that it’s not only chronic pain, it’s a multi-system organ failure. Right? Your diet is not good, you’re eating sugar, and patient coming in with a large
chocolate, whatever smoothie, whatever. Okay, we need to stop this. Too much sugar. Large coffee with sugar and cream and whatnot. Okay, we need, so I looked closely into this, get the patient on strict diet, GLP ones, control their sugar, control their exercise, insisted every time I keep bugging them. 10 minutes, I need you to walk 10 minutes out in the sun. And it changed a lot.
for the patient, the change. I had patients just by cutting coffee, dogless, they stopped
having
Healing (19:22)
Mm.
Hany Demian (19:22)
migraines, headaches, right? And a life change.
Healing (19:26)
Dude, so
it’s like you’re looking, you’re hitting it like right there because it’s like now all of a sudden, like you go to the doctor, at least for the last way, it became a I don’t know how long it’s been like that. The specialists, they look at your knee, the knee, the knee surgeon is not going to look at your shoulder and how that’s Excuse me. But you’re looking at the whole patient, you’re looking at the whole profile, you’re considering what they’re eating and.
Hany Demian (19:51)
Yep.
Healing (19:52)
You’re getting to know it, but this what the family doctor used to do.
Like they used to know what you were up to.
Hany Demian (19:59)
Yeah, they don’t have the time, they don’t have the energy to do that. They’re there just to… If you tell your doctor, I have ear pain, earache, he’s gonna look in one ear, he’s not gonna even pay attention to the other ear. It just
Healing (20:12)
You
Hany Demian (20:12)
becomes so, so tiring, right? To the point like, when did medicine change that much? When did it change that much? Right? And it just becoming… Like I tell my patient, right?
I have a patient that’s coming for a knee injection or a back injection or whatever, right? Or a consult. They said, you look sick. Right. I listened to their chest. They said somebody has to do it. You know what mean? Like if it’s not me and not your family physician, who else is going to do it? So I’ll do it. And that’s what really drove our business during COVID. Right. This concept really worked and they learned so hard from COVID. So COVID
In Canada, was living in Canada and all family practices, all specialists shut down for two years. Everybody shut down for two years. So we were doing chronic pain management, were doing gynecology, obstetrics. I was following patients for even dental pain. used to look at and give them antibiotics. They have dental infection, prescribing birth control pills. We’ve done everything.
Because we stayed, I fought and we stayed as essential worker and we didn’t shut down for two years, not even one day. And our business grew 35%. But we’ve done everything. We were everything for everyone walking through our door. And it helped because it gave me a chance to look at the patient as a whole. I’m not only treating
Healing (21:45)
Wow.
Hany Demian (21:46)
your knee now, I know everything about you.
Healing (21:49)
It’s such a simple thing. It’s like just
Hany Demian (21:51)
Yeah.
Healing (21:51)
get to know your patient. That’s it. It’s like for one and care about
Hany Demian (21:55)
Yeah.
Healing (21:55)
them. And then you have like, obviously it’s simple solutions too. It’s not like we’ve complicated healthcare so much. And I’ve talked about this so much on like healinglaw.com and stuff, know, Rockefeller medicine came on. He realized that the plastics, the petrochemicals developed were making could make any pharmaceutical drug. Like you can mimic any plant cause it’s their ancient comp plant compounds and they could
then patent it and then prescribe it through like this whole thing and they got rid of all the natural medicine. They went around the whole like and then the whole thing shifted. It’s called Rockefeller medicine. You ever looked into that? Have you heard of that one?
Hany Demian (22:30)
Yeah, I did. I did. I
did when my cholesterol started climbing and I didn’t want to take cholesterol pills. Right. So I looked into this and sure enough, if I stay away from that kind of medicine, I’ll be healthier because you’re treating your cholesterol, but you’re hitting your liver. You’re hitting your muscle and you’re having muscle aches, hitting your liver, hitting your kidneys. So what’s the point?
Healing (22:58)
something that simple too. Yeah.
Hany Demian (23:01)
Drugs and medicine is put you in a circle, right? You’re fixing something, but you’re hurting something else to get another medicine, right? So something simple like red rice yeast and PA and some natural herbs fix my cholesterol. My cholesterol now is better than ever. Not a medication whatsoever for it.
Healing (23:23)
Well speaking of supplements, that’s amazing dude. I love the way you’re putting things. Have you ever heard of fulvic acid?
Hany Demian (23:31)
Yep.
Healing (23:32)
Like Fulvic, F-U-L-V-I-C. So what do you know about it?
Hany Demian (23:38)
And what I read about it, it’s still under research. It’s still looking into it, but it does help into the mitochondrial level. It helps into slowing down the cell from breaking down, but that’s all what I read about it.
Healing (23:53)
Also, well, this podcast is sponsored by my company, OperationAmericanGrit.com. We’re the best supply. We have the best fulvic acid in the world is my claim. According to the research, because so it’s like there’s Shillegit deposits is a form of fulvic acid, right? It’s like, so that’s one form, but this is from America. It’s not Shillegit, but it’s, you know, it’s fulvic acid and it is like potent. Like, so they were claiming like 75 % fulvic acid. These companies, they were sending the Shillegit overseas.
on TikTok, but it was we tested it was 6 % is like based on the standardized studies. So they’re lying off the bat about that. This one’s 35%, which is the most based on that study, like that research. But it’s it.
Hany Demian (24:37)
How can I get it?
Healing (24:40)
I’ll send you a sample, I’ll send you one for just coming on here, but I’d love to tell you more about
Hany Demian (24:44)
Yep.
Healing (24:44)
that. And well, you can also find it on Operation Operation American grit dot com, our sponsor today.
And it does, yeah, so it’s like at the cellular level. So it’s ancient plant compost, right? It’s ancient plant material decomposed over thousands of years, and it’s cousin to petrochemicals. So if it were to stay in the ground in a different way and get more pressure and more heat, it might become coal or tar or oil. But instead, it
Hany Demian (25:12)
Okay.
Healing (25:12)
stays in a different form that is still bioavailable.
And it pulls, like it’s so small and like it goes to the cellular level. It’s really difficult to describe and I like the way you put it, but yeah, is cellular hydration and all sorts of things. Yeah, there’s a lot of reasons.
Hany Demian (25:30)
Honestly, Douglas, I think this is the future of medicine. People are staying away. I’ve seen it over the past 10 years. When the patient used to come and ask for a pill, it was the easiest thing to do. Just get your prescription out, write a pill, and give it the prescription. Patient is happy and you see them every few months, you renew it. Not anymore.
anymore. Tell any 20 years old now you have high cholesterol and you’re to have to take this pill for the rest of your life, right? And see the look on their face, right? Tell them that, you know what, you’ve got early signs of arthritis or autoimmune condition and you’re going to have to be on this medication for a long period of time, right? You’re basically telling them like this is a death sentence. Things change significantly and
people will, can do, like the first question, is there anything else I can do? Right? And the best answer that I tell them now is yes, there is something else that you can do. It’s much better, more effective if you take those supplements, right? I know it seems a lot, two or three supplements, the patient wouldn’t even blink. Get the supplements, we’ll meet again, repeat the blood work, look in their habits, look at their sleep, heart rate, what not, in a few months, it change.
Healing (26:52)
And so is that what Prudential Healthcare is about? Like, can you explain to us like how, like what is, explain to us what that is for you and what, that
Hany Demian (26:59)
So
Healing (27:00)
ties into this?
Hany Demian (27:01)
to explain to you, have to go back a little bit Douglas. So we started as chronic pain management, right? We started at traditional chronic pain management. We do a prescription and then we do injections, Injection, whether it’s a cortisone injection or whatever. Then we start incorporating PRP, platelet rich plasma and stem cells and things were doing good or whatever, but it wasn’t enough and the patient keep coming back.
So we decided to go to the next level, right? We decided to minimally invasive surgery in-house. So we bought Biospine Institute in Florida to do minimally invasive. And the whole idea was patient want to have a quick fix. I don’t wanna keep begging surgeons to do the surgery. I wanted to bring it in-house. So if the patient is not getting better from our treatment, we’ll be able to do quick surgery to fix them, right? Again, patient were not getting better.
So we had to look a little bit closer, what is wrong with that picture? Until we discovered it’s a multi-system organ failure. So there are other stuff, and this is what we build lifespan bioscience, right? Lifespan bioscience fixes, looks closely in that. What is actually your problem? Is it sleep, hormone imbalance? Is it supplements? Is it nutrients? What exactly going on? And we test all this. We do a quick test.
age test, biological age, and we look into your inflammation, your immune system, each organ, how they’re aging, how fast your cells are breaking down. And once we look into this, we’ll be able to design a plan. This plan goes beyond that. You go beyond optimizing your health as general, not only for joints, but for everything else, for your heart, right? It doesn’t mean much if I fix your joint, but your heart is failing or you’re…
Your brain is not remembering and you’re having dementia or Alzheimer’s. So how can we fix that? And we simplify it to the point that, as I said, I don’t want celebrity medicine. I don’t. I don’t want $10,000 stem cells coming from whatever. We’ll do that if we need to.
Healing (29:11)
You want to see results,
man. Praise God. Thank you. It’s awesome.
Hany Demian (29:16)
Yes.
Healing (29:17)
Like that’s like it’s so awesome to hear that like your practice, like that that’s what you’re up to. And you’re like really trying to bring solutions like and look at the individual and all the systems and bring them the information they need. We live like we have so much information. We should be able to live 150 to 200 years. We just would like look, take a moment to look at it right. And we had the right assistance, like people like you looking for the right way to do it.
Thank you, man. It’s great to hear.
Hany Demian (29:41)
Absolutely.
And it used to like literally like piss me off. said, you know, it’s just aging. No, it’s not. You don’t have to suffer because you’re 70 or 80 or 90. I don’t want to suffer. I think this very personally. I’m not going to be suffering when I’m 70, 80 and 90 years old. I’m not. You know what mean? It doesn’t mean that I have to lose my joints. I need joint replacement. My heart is not working. I cannot go up and down the stairs.
That’s why I exercise, I keep my diet in check, I sleep properly. I used to work night shift and sleep wasn’t important to me until I realized how important sleep is, right?
It’s just unbelievable. My heart rate, I try as much as I can to keep it below a certain level, right? My diet, I’m so picky about my diet, right? I do blood work every six to eight weeks just to look and see what supplements I need and I do that to the patient who are willing to do that, right? You gotta keep this in check, not to be obsessed, right? I’m not with…
The health model like Brian Johnson, the guy who doesn’t want to die and he lives inside in his house or in the infrared or hyperbaric gym. No, you need to go out to the nature. You need just a good balance, right?
Healing (31:01)
Right,
but the thing is, it’s just living with nature and being in tune with it is mostly the difference. Like, that’s half the difference of the sum. It’s somewhat of the difference. I don’t want to be too specific with the plan, but…
Hany Demian (31:12)
It is.
It does make a huge difference and we’re not made to live in indoors, right? Like when he said that you only get exposed to the sun, whatever 15 minutes a day is it, I can’t live like that. I enjoy the sun. I enjoy being on the beach. I enjoy walking barefoot on the beach and the sun. It just, you can just live in your own bubble, right?
You can’t just live in an investment suit all year long. You need to get out, enjoy, but sleep properly, eat properly, watch what you eat. That’s all what you need. Just moderation and everything. You will live longer. The problem is we take everything to extreme, Douglas, right? We take things to extreme, like don’t get exposed to the sun.
It doesn’t mean that don’t overexpose to the sun. Don’t sit and bake in the sun. That’s what we’re talking about. Sitting and baking like we used to do when we were younger for six, eight hours, it’s not healthy as well, right? So just moderation is good. And we learn a lot from the nature. I personally love outdoor. When I watched the documentary for Brian Johnson when it came out, I can’t live like that. I just, can’t.
You know what mean? I like being outside.
Healing (32:26)
Right. It’s essential, man. I could talk with you forever and like I like to keep these about 30 minutes. already going over it I’d like to invite
Hany Demian (32:33)
Yep.
Healing (32:34)
you on again if you want to come on and discuss further because that was we barely even stayed on topic and there’s so much to get into still
