TEXAS- JUNE 10th, 2021-– On June 7th Governor Abbot of Texas took to Twitter announcing that vaccine passports would be outlawed in Texas.
“Texas is open 100%. Texans should have the freedom to go where they want without any limits, restrictions, or requirements.”

The bill will ban both business and state government buildings from requiring a vaccine passport. Or from requiring any other form of vaccine information. The bill comes amid a global push for vaccine passports. The proposed passports would likely come in the form of a QR code on a phone. And would hold a persons health information.

Such passports are already present in certain place in NY and other states.
A similar bill passed in Florida, prohibits any business from requiring a vaccine passport.
