LOS ANGELES, CA- August 18th, 2021– Los Angeles City Council votes 13-0 to pass vaccine requirements for city workers. This comes one week after the council voted to draft a mandate that would mandate vaccines for indoor establishments.
As of publication, this mandate is pending the mayor’s signature. The new mandate for city workers includes exemptions for medical and religious reasons.
The order states one exemption, that workers with:
“Individuals with a medical condition or restriction should be allowed to request reasonable accommodation.”
